Preparing for Next School Year
In this article, you will lean how to prepare for the next school year. It is strongly suggested to follow the mentioned sequence.
End of Year Purge Routine

Each step of the routine is explained on the page itself. This routine should not be attempted until after completion of the most recent academic year. That is, when all the students are out for the summer, and there are no scanning for infractions. It should be done before resuming after the summer break, and before uploading a fresh set of student data.

Click on the Start Now button to begin the process.
To access, click on the Configure button available at the top bar and select the tab for End of Year.
Date Validation
Clean Up Students Data

To do so, click on the System Settings
-
Next click on Mass Updates
-
Next select General Student Updates and then Mass Active / Deactivate and Deactivate students from All Grades
You need to remove all students from the prior school year.
Clean Up User Accounts

The greyed out list on the left will show you the process as it runs, step by step.

The system needs to know the last date when you had students in the school before the summer break. Select that date.

To run the purge, click on the Next button. Carefully follow each step of printing reports, backing up the database and deleting the records. Once this routine is completed you will be able to change your Bell Schedules, and Interventions, and table of Consequences.
After clicking on the Start Now button, this screen will appear.

Select the tab for Staff.

Select the checkboxes against the users and system will show the button for Deactivate.

Click on the Deactivate button.
The next step is to make sure you have deactivate all users that should not have have access to the software anymore. To access, Click on the bottom-left button named System Settings. Click on the Users button available at the top bar.
Update Account Status
Make sure your account is not going to expire when you need it. To check the status of your account, click on the Configure button at the top bar and select the tab for My Account. You can see your account expiration date.
You can renew your account with a PO / Check or Credit Card right from this page by clicking on the Renewal button.
Upload Students

Go to System Settings
-
Click on Students
-
Click on Upload Students
Now that your application is all cleared out it is time to get ready for the upcoming school year.
